Hey guys, i seem to have a tiny leak in my glass aquarium (135 gallon). The leak seems to come from the top where the black trim connects to the glass. Here is a picture of a tank that is sealed properly. I just used this picture to show you guys what seal i am talking about. The tank is flipped over and the black bar is apart of the top black trim of the tank(the thing that holds the glass lids on). Pretend the red circle on the left side is where my leak is. I ran my finger over the suspected leak area and found that there is very little or no silicone left, so water is i guess evaporating into that tiny opening and then running down the back of the tank. I was wondering how i would go about fixing this very tiny problem. I am hoping that i dont need to take the whole aquarium down just to fix this little problem.

Any suggestions will help. Thanks

btw. the tank is fairly new, i bought it new about 1 year ago.

you could try to silicone over that spot. not going to be the 100% right way to do it, but it might work, just lower your water level and be careful not to drop any in the tank.

that will not work you have to first remove the old silcone.
