one of my dats the other day started having this
cloudy eye on one side, now tody both eyes are cloudy
hes in a quarentine tank and he bumping into to everything
this happened to one of my other dats a while ago
and i tried to save him, but when i brought him to the fish
store the guy didnt know what was wrong and said it was internal
and died:cry:
can anyone help me out
 
Try triple sulfa it takes care of bacterial and fungus infections. After you get him better make sure you do more water changes...Poor water conditions are the common cause. I would do at least 50% water changes a week but hey thats just me. Let us know how you make out.
 
Funwow nailed it but I have never tried the meds,water quality is critical.

Perfectly put.
Just keep the water pristine. Bump up your temp a little also.
 
Some of my Tigers have had cloudy eye, usually caused when they have been transported in poly boxes for few hours. Probably caused by diminishing water quality in box and / or by hitting his eye on the sides of box being stressed from the transport.

Never used meds, and only increased water changes to 3 /week in stead of 2.

It has always cleared up as a result.
 
But remember if the condition is to far along and infection has set in water changes wont fix the infection.
