I just came across some L038's....Are these rare in the hobby or are they well seen? There isn't much info online about them, so if anyone has any good info could you please share? I f I knew how to post a picture I would post some of them.

im saying rare i havent seen one really..plus there similiar to the L-002 but the head stripes are much thicker and less defined
If they are L38's id say fairly rare......but 1) if you like it who cares how rare it is as long as you can get it. 2) make sure it is actually a L38 and not mislabled. Pretty common with peckoltia. Also L002 is a panaque, so it has large teeth, fairly easily to distinguish. HTH
If I knew how to post pics I would but not sure how to.I was trying to figure if they was rare or not due to the price of them.
id say L38..like electric said so i guess x2..in a sense..but it doesnt matter on rarity it matters on if you actually like them like i love L114 plecos by far one of my favs..but hey thats a imo..
