help ray

my ray pull the préfilter of my pump and get stuk in the intake for 15m ?
now have a big bruise on one of the sides . what shell i do ?
 
I had the same thing happen with my first ray. I came home from church and found the ray stuck up at the top of the tank to a powerhead intake. I shut the pump off and he had a huge ring on his back. I even saw a little bloodlike fluid on his back. I was flipping out since that was day two of having him. I did a water change and kept the water quality up. He ended up being fine!
 
the pump is a 794gph and have a a cartrige whit filter floss .i change that floss every 2 days . today i chang it after lunch but didnt put to work. few hours ago i call my wife from my job so that she put the pump working.
somewow i must have put the filter bad:cry: .
my wife sad tha she was gone from the livingroom for 15m top , by than the rays was stuck in the intake and the filter cartrige was in the botton of the tank.
i have now change 50% of water , clean the gravel and had a pipe to the pump from the outside so some air is coming. i dont have sea salt at home now and tomorow is the day of the deads so wall LFS gone be close ,is a holliday.
tomorow i going of my town for a night.so gone be 2 days before i can put salt
 
she is doing ok , the edge is just a bit darker than the rest, the brething is good and she already going true all the tank . the bottom part is in worst shape but i hope tha everything goes well
 
maybe it was a lucky escape then. hope it recovers and all is well. you'll have to keep an eye on it, and make sure the filter stuff is all secure
 
just arrived and my ray lost a peace from the edge of the disk, this is the part that was stuk in the pump.
she looks active and i gone give some bloodworms to see eat.
i took some pics but is giving a error on the upload , says that can not conect to the server???:screwy:
 
she is attaking the food , BW,krill and choped prawns.
will the salt do any harm to my knife fishs (carapo and BG) and my clowns loches?
