Help! rays acting wierd

Hi guys, my rays seem to be acting strange. They are climbing the tank and then jumping or kind of hopping above the water level, drops back down and tries to do it again. I thought they might be 'playing' but both of them doing ti seems odd? any advice is appreciated!

I dont own stingrays, but would like to start learning a few about them.

Dont you have any video of a ray doing this?

Lol thanks red. when the one leo hybrid was doing it, I thought he was just happy to see me. Then the pearl hybrid started doing it too and i got worried. Now I'm a bit relieved

pics of your rays yet? i also have one that does this when im late on feeding her.

all my rays do this...the like to play...they like to "fly" in the fx5 return aswell

normally just means they are hungry.
but they will sometimes do this if water parameters are less than ideal.do daily 30% water changes for a week and see if the behaviour stops.
Another cause of this can be low oxygen levels.

When i added my first ray he would do this to get some air, but then discovered the air disk.
