hi i fed my 16inch red tail yesturday morning some cod fillets his belly was very fat since then he is just lying in the corner of the tank water is ok but the temp is 79 is this too hot please help i dont want to do a water change yet incase this makes him worse i did a 50% change 4 days ago i do this amount weekley please help

laying there... meaning... RTC's won't move much when they are full... so is it just that he's content or is ther someother reason that you suspect there is something wrong?

turn the temp to about 76.
if his belly is huge (i call mine a basketball with appendages)
give him time to lay down and get it down.
if he does vomit you do need to do a massive water change.

Sounds to me like he's just FAT AND HAPPY !!!! Mine did the same thing, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
