[Help] Red Texas Tank Setup

Greetings

Finally found a nice looking Red Texas for $90 out here in the crazy aquarium scene in India. He is about 4-5".

Got him in a temporary 3ft tank with a Leopard Sailfin Pleco.

Now my area of concern for which i would appreciate your expert advice would be on the tank background and substrate.

For Flowerhorns, i guess you need a bright substrate and background...and for arowanas it was to be a black tank....So what do i go for while i set up my 4x2x1.5 tank exclusively for him and the pleco?

A dark gravel color will bring out his colors.

Black background will bring out the colors! ( like black subrate)

Im now using natural white to brown colored gravels.
