Help regarding food

I have a velltail albino oscar abt 12" now when i bought him he was jst 2" i have always feed him hikari, now i am giveing him hikari staple large pellets, but a lot of stuff comes out of his gills while eating and it makes tank dirty, so can anyone suggest me sum other food

Not really many food out there you can change to, Oscars are always filthy eaters. Can't think of anything, actually.

What you can do is have a few bottom feeders help clean up the food. Cories and loaches, for example.

I always find that Hikari does that debris thing too much for the good name it has

No cories...no loaches smaller than 5 inches.

The featherfin syno cats are better...you can try mts but that could become a problem all by themselves.
