What should i do?
Thanks:cry:

AVG tool bar is integrated into the operation of AVG security centy. I assume that is what your also running for Anti virus? Sometimes shutting off your virus protection and then uninstalling will make the difference. OR you may need to download the AVG tool bar uninstaller.

Here is a link from AVG on the uninstaller as well as some windows options. Of course you have to make sure your a Admin on the log in. In some cases going in safe mode can also disable windows options that can keep it from uninstalling (assuming windows)

Here is a link to AVG page and their info on removal

good info.

Thank you. I tried everything to uninstall, nothing worked. I called AVG and spend almost 2 hours with them. They had to go on my computer and go thru all kinds of files to finally remove the program.

This is why you should always read every screen prior to installing anything. There are options to uncheck items during the install, but too many people just rush to install the program without considering the possible repercussions.
