help removing strofoam background

how would i remove hard styrofoam backgrounds of the glass with out breaking them as i want to use them on my other tank. anyone know how to do this????? so basically any thing i can use to get under the panels and loosen the silicone.

i used a hand saw and couple kitchen spatulas once, the spatulas got it started, then i used the hand saw and popped them off, you want to support as much as possible when prying so they dont break. got mine off without a single break, couldnt believe it.

Why not just sharpened the crap out of a long bladed kitchen knife & use that?
