HELP REQUIRED

Hi,

Today i found something hanging out of my oscar's anus. It looks like a nerve or something. skinnish in color. Also my oscar is not eating anything.

PLEASE HELP.....

Now the oscar suddenly started jumping out of water very vigorously for appro. 1 min. and the thing hanging out of the anus got separated from it.
The oscar felt restless for some time but nw it is swimming ok but still doesnot seem comfortable
