Fish Tank
So here is the situation. I recieved my silver arow the other day from a buddy who had it in a 50 gal tank for about 2years?. He gave it to me so i can throw him in my 180 gal tank. Now this arow is about 23-25 inches. He told me when it got big it was struggling to live in the small tank "DUH".

The first night i had him he was already in bad shape, kind of tilting a bit staying at the bottom a lot. I tossed some stress coat with him and now hes doing a bit fine.
Sometimes i see him just chilling at the bottom but then like a few hours later hes like in a vertical position with his mouth on the surface.

Its been 2 days and I'v tried feeding him raw shrimp as i did with my past arows but this guy just doesn't eat. Also tried crickets/pellets and nothing, my buddy told me he fed the arow a few mice b4 and fed him raw meat. Now after he told me that I was pretty sure this arow was not gonna eat anything but raw meat and mice. Now I am stressing myself. He is still doing those veritcal dips sometimes.

What to do MFK folks? I dont want this fish to die because of my newbie buddy.

Be greatful! Your buddy grew that arowana for 2 years to the size of 23-25in. He's not newbie. If the fish die, it's because of you, not your buddy, since it's in your care now. Ask him when was the last time he fed the aro. Big aro can stay off food for a few days. You just moved the fish a couple of days ago, so it may still be stress. Sometimes, aro won't eat for a week, after transporting. Mind to post up your tank and water condition? What's the tank temperature? Picture of tank and fish would be great.

Any changes in condition/behavior? Update?

Interesting, he manage to grow it to 25" in a 50g tank for 2 years?
