Hi, Lately I gor a WC juvi Poly Moke and Weeksi. Today morning I noticed that my Weeksi, tail fins were badly split in varoius areas. when I got back from school, I noticed that the tail got fin rot!!!! The moke and weeksi are the rarest fish i got and I want them in perfect condition! Thanks god the moke is still in perfect condition. My 75 gallon tank is currently divided with a large angelfish, juvi del and albino in one end and on the end, 2 medium angel fish and my juvi weeksi and moke. I added melifix to my fin rot infected end. will my weeksis fin completely heal back? His tail isn't like a "fork" or anything. What are the culprits? Angelfish?/ they aren't aggresive. The fins aren't ripped in chunks or anything. I do not have a quarinteen tank. Help! WILL IT HEAL???

Yes, their fins should heal completely back; depending on how severe the case of fin rot is. I would also keep the water you have them in as pristine as possible, do 50-75% water changes weekly.

Are you keeping up on your 50% water changes? How about putting in prime with your 50% water changes? Thats the culprit!
Yes I consider my water quality as mint. I change the tank water 25% each week. ITS THE SPLIT FIN I'M WORRIED ABOUT. will it grow back normally??? It is not super severe.
do large (50%) daily water changes with 1 tbs salt per 10 gallons until the fins heal. throw the melafix in the trash where it belongs.
LOLs. really?? melifix doesn't work? The fin rot is gone but will the split fin heal back to normal??
