help setting up a brackish tank!!!

ok i got a 40 gallon tank its 36'' long its a tall i wana start a brackish tank i like, scats , puffers, monos and such what do i need to do to start one and what could i stock any ideas are greatly appreciated

mine was the same demensions. i had a freshwater snowflake eel, a couple gsp, and an anableeep (sp?). the ell will eventually outgrow but it was cool. i had it a while ago tho so i dont remember hardware
 
ok thankyou much dont mean to be a pain with looking for ideas, as it seems to bother some people just wanting to set up a nice tank for display and like friendly ideas thankyou all
