help setting up a frontosa tank??

hey all!!.... i just got a new tank(400 gallons)
and i was surfing the fontosa section
and i was amazed!!:grinno::grinno:

so i 'm thinking of getting a couple of fonts for my new tank after it's been cycled but im not really sure on how to derorate the tank..:nilly:

any ideas/ pics..would be great

also, any recommended tankmates to go with the fonts and brighten up the tank??;)

Also depending on the size of the Frontosa you might want to have some hiding spots. Remeber to have more females then males if you are looking to breed. I have 12 myself but they are houes in 125gal and soon to move to a 300gal in the future. Good luck and can't wait to see some Pictures!
 
I just have a few rocks and a couple flowerpots and they are spawning. You dont need a lot of hiding spots with fronts, they are more open water cichlids. I wouldn't make the tank too bright either because they are deep water fish. Also keep them pretty crowded, they are more comfortable in a group. If you cant afford a huge group of adults I would probably suggest some large dithers like rainbow fish, silver dollars or gouramis. Avoid small tankmates because they will get eaten.
