hi I have a 125 gallon fish tank with six fish in it right now. I have a 16 inch silver arowana,12inch parrot fish,13inch greenterror,3 female flowerhorn about 5-7-8inches. The filtration is fx5 and sunsun canister. The problem I have is I have to clean the fish tank every three day or they grow white stuff over their eye and their gill gets all together but after I do 30-40percent water change they back to normal so what should I do that it I can do once a week water change? I have been busy lately that I get stressed if I don't have time to wc. I m planning to do a metal frame pool about 500gallon in basement for them in six month so if u can help plz tell me what to do thanks

Seems a little overstocked for that type of filtration. A sump would definitely be the best choice, but since the tank is already up and running, that's going to be too difficult to do properly.

Welcome aboard ;)
How long has the aquarium been up and running and was it completely cycled before introducing all of the fish also do you use dechlorinator such as prime when performing the water changes.
Like O Ontherocks stated 125 is way Over stocked and your filter is not handling the Bioload. What are your water parameters Ammonia,Nitrite,Nitrate, and Ph readings. If you do not have a test kit I suggest taking a sample of water to your lfs to let them test your aquarium water asap. Until you setup the larger pool for them do larger water changes weekly and cut down the feeding. You could still add another filter, sump,or add Bio Media to the filters that you have. Please keep your filters maintained because it is crucial to remove as much waste as possible.

You are way way way overstocked. I confidently predict that your fish are swimming round in poison!! You need to get that 500g pool up and running as soon as possible and until you do i'd be doing a 50% water change everyday on your current set up to keep the water anything near like what it should be.

The good news is though your new 500g set up will be brilliant for that stock, if they actually live through their current situation that is.

Thanks for reply I setup this tank about a year and half ago. It was just the arowana greenterror and parrot then my friend had three flowerhorn that he put in a bucket that is dieing so I kepted in my tank just to get them survive. He didn't wanted back so I kept them for about 5 months now. I did some test about a month ago that everything was in pretty good condiction.

Hello; While the hobby has demands of our time and energy, it should not be a cause of stress. May I suggest finding a different hobby.

Hello; Perhaps you should re-home the fish you now have. Then get the 500 gallon setup going and either get some fish to fit or perhaps get the same fish back?

Hello; Good luck.

Thx for breaking it down for me. I think I will rehome all the fish except the arowana then I will start planning the 500gallon one. I just bought a 46 bow front acrylic tank so wifey is not too happy about buying more for fish tank that's y I wanna do it after six month. Thank you guys for the suggestion
