help!! severums laid eggs

my gold and green severums laid eggs in my community tank... should i leave the eggs or take them out? never taken eggs out before...

if this is their first batch you should try to see if the eggs are fertile... and if your fish are good parents.. well in the end its up to you.. GL with the severems

What else have you got in your tank? Any fish with sucker-mouths pose a threat. You might want to pull the eggs and raise them in a 10G, 15G, 20L.

there are two other severums and a breeding pair of sajicas.. and 10 guppies hehe

Yeah just leave them. They'll probably spawn again in 3-4 weeks. How big is the tank?



I hate Guppies.

ps guppies are for show lol my nephew likes to catch them.. so does the cat

Thats a good footprint. I wouldnt pull the eggs. However if the 2nd spawn gets eaten, pull the 3rd.

thanks for the tips.. yea its a nice tank i like the wider ones thats why i went with 24 inches wide.. its the tank in my avatar... built it all myself... pretty easy. got the glass from where i work for the price of a case of beer.
