Help sex my JD (Pics)

Ive read thru a few posts on this site and others trying to figure out which sex my dempsey is.

Here are a few pictures, I was thinking female because of the blue gill plate. But it also has pointed fins so Im not too sure, so I thought I would ask the experts.

Very small, hard to tell, but I'd swing the female way too! ;-)

That Blue is definatly not a male characteristic!

Based of what I've read here, I'd say it is a female as well.
