First is Nimbochromis Fuscotaeniatus. The fish is 4.5-5" and is showing some blue on the head and dim red on the fins. I am unsure if the females show any coloration or sheen at all? I cannot find any pictures of females other than one beaten up fish on google images... I have read that these fish take a long time to color up, and I'd just like to know sex so I can try to find opposite sexes for them.

Second is a Placidochromis Milomo. I think this one is female. You can see some very very faint blue glittering in the scales, but the fins show none of the brilliant red I've seen on some juvies half this fish's size. This fish is just shy of 4"
