Hi, i picked up 2 blood parrots that I am hoping are female. The orange one is about 2.5” and the yellow blotchy one is closer to 3.5”. Can anyone give me an educated guess on gender?

Great thanks. It’s really hard to find a female so I’m glad I was able to finally track one down. I’m assuming the breeders are keeping the females to cross with other fish. 9/10 of the blood parrots in my lfs are male.
Upon further inspection, I’m pretty sure the larger, uglier one is a male. Hopefully he looks a little better once he puts on some weight.
