Help sexing firemouth

My firemouth is about 3 inches and I’d like to add one of the opposite sex to my tank in hopes of them pairing up. Any thoughts on whether mine is male or female? Thanks for the help

Fire mouths are very difficult to sex, and your photos are very dark, and not close enough to get remote idea.
They are not normally best kept as a pair , if you want them to breed, they are shoaling species in nature, and success is best achieved when 6 or 8 are housed together, and they are allowed to select their own partners. The pair will then break off from the group and spawn.
