I personally feel it is a female. I have not actually pulled her out and vented her, but it looks like she has female parts. If she is indeed a she, at what age should she lay eggs? What would be a good fish to breed her with? I purchased her as a Flowerhorn, from a reputable store. She was cheaper than most of their other ones,but she also was a lot smaller then too. She doesn't have a flowerline though so I assume that means she's low quality? Sorry for the low quality pic. Doesn't really do her blue justice
