help sexing hopefull pair of jag's

first off can someone please explane how jag's are sexed? i see lots of people on here doing it and i've just never really figured it out too well.
next please help me get a positive sex on both of these.

this is the larger of the two. picked it up yesterday

smaller one which i've since a fry.

males tend to get a more spotty pattern as they mature and there stripes seem to break up into spots where as the females ten to keep there bars and do have a few spots on them to, never asmuch as a male tho. you can also tell by the shape of there head, the males get a steeper different change, kinda like a bump where as female head stays more level.
