I'd have to disagree with my experience. I had a grow out of 10 where 2 females which grew bigger than males at faster pace, push the others to corners on the other side of a 6ft tank.Agree with the above gender ID assements,
While females may sport a few spangles, they are never dominant, like males are.-

I agree as my experience is the same. I’ve kept them three times now and each and every time the females have been larger and dominant which resulted in the males were always a target after spawns. This last time this b*tch wiped an entire tank in the middle of the night. I woke up to fertilized eggs and an entire 240g worth of dead fish.I'd have to disagree with my experience.
