I have a ansorgii about 6", it has been upside down and bent in like an "S" shape for a good few weeks now. Can't keep himself to the bottom of the tank keeps floating around. Was eating fine and this happen one day all of a sudden. Still has a lot of strength left. Is there anything I can do to help him?!!

It's in my growout tank with 3 smaller endli's.

I had a similar issue and was advised to add espom salt to the tank. 1tbls per 5 gallons i think it was. Worked like a charm

I've been adding aquarium salt, I've got Epsom salt so il do a water change and add that. Any other inputs??

Add salt. Maybe trapped air from gulping air. Epsom salt will help it pass along.

If it's upside down then that maybe a swim bladder issue. Get some pics to help. In meantime may need to get some maracyn2 in case it's swim bladder. Add salt for now and get pics or video asap.

Don't feed the fish for now.

Its better if you tank some pic so everyone can chip in. As mentioned epson salt should help if its only trapped air.

If it is trapped air it would have been resolved by now if it's been goin on for a few weeks like u said it isn't trapped air cause that resolves within a couple of days

Great news, went to lfs and got some swim bladder treatment now the ansorgii can stay upright and on the ground, only thing now is its still bent in like an S shape and can't swim in a straight line....
