Im having real bad luck. I lost a aquabid flowerhorn awhile back to what i now know was columnaris, anyway i put my 12in. male festae in the tank and now hes sick!! hes has swollen peeling cheeks and lips, he also has white stringy feces!! help cuick, water parama are great etc. , hes gonna die

PS hes in a 125, i have no hospital tank(in use) ive started salt and temp increase to 86-87 with large water changes and gravel vac, il pu erythromycin tonite???
I read some where in a thread Here several ways to rid your tank. without tearing down. One was to run bleach in the water and filter for a day or so. Then put heavy dose of declorinator. and run it.
You will have to recycle the system ( It will destroy your biologicals ) but you won't have to scrub every thing in the setup.
