MY RTC HAS STARTED GASPING HEAVY ALSO SHEDDIND ALOT AND HIS BARBELS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE ROTTING AWAY WHAT IS THIS DOES ANY BODY NO

First thing to do is test your water - pH, ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte.
Also, what size fish, tank, filtration, what water changes do you do and how long has the tank been established.
With this info it will be much easier for other members to offer suitable advice.

Nick has hit it on the head, more info is needed but pH shock and ammonia burns often manifest themselves this way with cats.
