Hi all! I'm new to stingray keeping and recently I got my first ever BD from a fellow hobbyist who was despatched overseas.

After showing some of my fellow hobbyist friends, they said that the stingray is very skinny and doesnt look healthy.

It has been nearly 3 weeks since I got it and I have been feeding it squid, anchovy and sometimes deshelled prawns. It is around 10" in diameter.
I feed it squid in the morning and anchovy at night.
The ray has been eating well but the tail bone is still visibly seen. I have attached a youtube link of my feeding and a photo of it.

Can I seek your kind advice on how I should help this ray in gaining it's body shape and isit normal for it to be in this shape despite it's diet?

Also, I have recently got Mirage Vita from my LFS which was recommended by the boss.

I look forward to your replies and opinions everyone! Thank you so much for your kind attention :)

The ray looks fine to me as well. Also be careful and keep an eye out on how the ray behaves with your tig overtime. My ray stabbed my tig once. Luckily he recovered without a lot of issues.
Here’s the post I made when I noticed the injury

Thanks for the replies mates! yes im kind of worried the tigrinus will be stung by the ray. He wacks the food like there's no tomorrow and I doubt he cant sense the sting as well :/

Still looks great!
Thanks mate! Does anyone knows what are the characteristics of a healthy ray? Does it have to have a fat tail? Recently got 2 new pups and hopefully will be able to rear these to mature age for breeding ?
