Hi guys,i have bought a forest snakehead i think its a channa lucius ard 10cm.I live in Singapore so its ok to keep them,and i had it for more than 2 weeks and its not eating anything i give it since the day it arrived,including frozen bloodworms,diced market prawns,baby frogs and feeder guppies. May i know what is causing this? its in a 2 by 1 ft tank atm.water parameters are optimum,pH 6.5-7.0,temp 28 degrees celcius and added anti chlorine and blackwater essence.

no its in a bare tank of its own. The belly is not sunken but it shows sign of inactivity as it floats at the top to just rest itself sometimes and when i stir up the water by increasing the air pump it juz swims back to the bottom and stays there.
i think its a little stressed, you can switch off the air pump cause it doesnt really help channas are air breathers and stirring up the water only adds stress..try putting some sort of cover or hiding spot for the lucia, i have one and its one of the toughest fish i've ever had, and eats anything..hope this helps..
