WHO KNOWS A REALLY QUICK AND GOOD CURE FOR POISION IVY!


i have it on the inside of my entire left arm and most of my chest and my stomach is starting some tooo....... itchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help


i tried 97 percent alchohol and it worke don the arm i scratch all the time (right) but not on the left arm



my back ahs some too i think


i dont think those lotions work but if u guys think it does il try . i wanan devote all wendseday through friday to gettin rid of this crap , it itches so bad

Drink antihistamine (anti allergies) . It might help.
Get caladryl calamine lotion and soap yourself with AVEENO.
That will work.
 
You probably still have the oils on your skin. There's a product called Technu for washing off oil from poison oak, ivy, and sumac that's available at most drug stores. In a pinch, you can use Fels-Naptha laundry soap, liquid bleach, or any powdered laundry detergent. It won't help you if it's gone systemic, but will help stop the surface spread. You'll want a cortisone shot from the doctor if it goes systemic.

I'm a mountain biker, so I get poison oak all the time. It's WAY worse than poison ivy. Be thankful that you don't live west of the Mississippi!
 
idk the difference , i got it while choppin down trees last weekend , i was wondering cuz these are bumps with no bubbling

Take a few vicodin and then soak your arm in Clorox. heh heh heh, I'm not allergic to Poison Ivy but I have friends that are and thats what they do. (minus the Vicodin) :hitting:

"Systemic" is when you get the toxins in your bloodstream. You'll know because your entire body will be beet red and swollen. :(

Sounds like the oils are still on you. Wash with Technu, Fels-Naptha laundry soap, or powdered laundry detergent.
 
yikes....wash, soak, done the deterg. thing before....and just get some stuff to put on the skin. If it already hit the bl. stream, I'm sorry. It'll take a while but you'll get there. I honestly wouldn't use alc. either. You need to let the skin weep it out, alc. will dry it and won't let the skin ooze it out as well.
 
yeea but when iot ozzes doesnt it spread???


i took a bath in laundry detergent and my wee wee stung , it better work
