HELP STINGRAY WOUNDS

Guys what is this??
I got a pair of rays, 2 datnioides and 1 african arowana.

It looks like stabwounds. I wouldnt know why the male would stab her.
Substrate is filtersand. My guts tell me to trow some salt and donr do anything crazy.

Do you have any heaters in the tank, looks more like a burn to me?

I have but that is impossible because i have them inside pvc with small holes. I really think the male did this.
