help stock my 55

i can't decide what to put in my empty 55 gal. i really want an aggressive fish but i kinda want more than one. so can u give me some suggestions. i really like RD an GT can i get one of both?

u can start them off in there but they will need to be moved to a larger tank, they cant live for life in there

are all RD and GT at my LFS (petco) a good choice or should i look elsewhere?

You could get a single RD or single GT and maybe a pleco, but for those two extremely aggressive fish a 300g tank would be cramped if you wanted to keep them together

The only thing i would allow in your 55g would be a female gt. For a red devil or a gt male you would need a 75g minimum.

Keeping a rd and a gt in a 300g would be cramped? I've seen people do multiple large aggressive cichlids in a 300g, both which have had rd and gt + a lot more aggressive fish then them.
