So, I got a 110 gallon 5 foot tank off craigslist today, for free!

Anyway, it's an unexpected tank, and I'm open to suggestions on what to stock it with.

Wow...thats a bonus.
Do you have anything specific in mind , before experts suggest.
I recently saw a pic in one of the posts , with some driftwood and nice growing Anubias and Juvenile Dovii in it , i guess the tank size was a 7 footer.
In your case , replace the Dovii with 4 - 5 EBJD's. Shy and passive at first , but with good care , they can become very personable and fun.

Nothing specific in mind. Preferably something out of the ordinary. I'm not too fond of JDs. I've had a couple in the past.

Not the biggest fan, I have a 5-6 inch ZZ pair growing out in a 75 already. I'd prefer a pure Trimac to a FH though.

Very nice! Make very sure the tank isn't leaking though... As far as what to put in, it depends on what you're looking for. Wet pet or Community? Color or personality? Personally I feel "out of the ordinary" here on MFK is more of the extraordinary =P I don't see much on salvinis here but I've seen them in several LFS. Umm... It's not SA/CA but I've actually really enjoyed my paratilopia bleekeri (arguably the same as a polleni but I like to think I'm special =p). Gotten along pretty well with my JD and I've seen them in other SA/CA tanks (my LFS has 2 in their 900 gallon display tank with SA/CA like severums and geos)
