Hoping for some help in completing the stock on my primarily South American tank. It measures out to 84”x42”x36”. Currently I have stocked:
(9) tiger barns
(2) silver dollars
(2) blood parrots
(2) severums
(2) angelfish
(2) red head Tapajos geos
(1) balzani geo
(2) red tail sharks
(2) clown loaches

I’m hoping to add:
(1-3) firemouths
(2) Uarus
(1) green terror
(1-3) electric blue acaras
(1-2) geos (maybe altifrons?)
Maybe another school of barbs (Denison’s)

What are your thoughts on my additions? Tank is obviously cycled and a large wet dry filtration system. No live plants, only fake but plenty of large lace rock and a ton of hiding places (almost too much) I have a hard time keeping track of fish. All fish are juveniles and I intend to only purchase juveniles to increase the chance of a peaceful community. I understand GTs can be aggressive but I think given the tank size and the occupancy and purchasing a GT at 1-2” i should have good luck. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you like the Silver dollars I suggest you add at least 4 more......A shoal in a big tank is awesome and they dont do well in groups smaller than 5 or 6. Maybe add some Flagtails??

Only issues I see are that the tiger barbs and rainbow sharks are likely to nip at the south American fish with flowing finsh, like the angels and geophagus. The tiger barbs and rainbow sharks are from Asia as well, not SA. The GT is a wildcard as you stated, but with some luck in a tank this size it will be ok. I would also add more than 1-2 of the geophagus if you get some, they like groups. FIremouths should be okay but are from central America, prefer harder water (though they are adaptable).

Double thumbs up for Uaru!

But I don't recommend green terrors with your stock
