8' x 2' bottom footprint.....

Will order new fire eel roughly 12 inch long when I find one I like with the right pattern.....

will have a 23 inch clown knife (big baby)

Thinking of an aro of some sort(what would you guys suggest if I did)

Open to all other suggestions.
Will be canister filtered....But overly done.
Have PFS at about roughly 3 to 3.5 inch think. It is a lighter color with black tahitian moon sand mixed in.
Lighting will be either t5's or halides..I have both.....

Thanks for any help or suggestions....

Make the fire eel a pair and get a mate for the clown. I think you would need to get a large Aro initially as the clown is already sizable.

How about an aquatic turtle or two? RazorBackMusk? Loggerhead? These dont get to big so you could have a couple...

These stock suggesting posts are hard.

Agreed, lima cat, bichirs. The 2' width will be tough for an arowana unless you got lucky with a non-murdering jardini. I'd want some big mid-water fish in there, maybe a big cichlid like a bocourti.

Ditto on the 2' width. Its really limiting me too. The 8 foot length will help alot for more active fish but you don't want the fish to have trouble turning around. Its hard to suggest anything without knowing exactly what you like. Personally, I really like the idea of having a clown knife with a few larger cichlids.

Giant gourami, awesome fish great personality

I got a 500 gallon that is 6' x 4' to upgrade to when needed
