i just got my 155g tank today and i am needing help stocking it. so far all that will be in it is a 7 inch jd and a 8 inch oscar. i am also needing to decorate it so i am needing some ideas for that too. so if y'all can put some pictures of fish and tank decorating ideas it would be really helpful.

id say a flagtail, gar, bichir, and some characins

The smallest gar is a Flordia gar and gets too big for a 155.

To the OP - what kind of tank do you want? A few larger fish or several smaller/medium size fish or an oddball type setup?

you could do a carpintis, midas (if you find one thats more mellow), a mellow vieja sp, there are really tons of options so im sure people will suggest more but im drawing a blank right now haha also the bichir is a good idea in that size tank you could do a delhezi and an ornate

anymore ideas?

You're the one that has to look at the tank, and perform the maintenance on it. It's not going to do any good if people here put your tank together for you, and just tell you what to do.

You already have a pretty aggressive fish, and a pretty mild fish, both of which still have the potential to be up to double the size they are now. Why don't you do some research and find out what's compatible with what you already own, if you don't plan on rehoming them?

Are you planning on live plants? If not a school of silver dollars would be nice.

i'm not looking for people to setup my tank for me i am looking for ideas. i have everything setup right now so far i have pea pebbles in and i will be adding some rocks before long right now the water is cycling with out fish right now. my JD hasn't really ever been aggressive with any fish that i have.
