Hey ive just recieved one of these cheap little plastic tanks:

I purchased the smallest one(4''x7''x5.5''). It's about .6 of a gallon. My intention is to make a fully functioning "micro" aquarium out of it. I don't plan on adding a heater, but just a filter of some sort along with a "natural" looking aquascape. My question to you all is;What fish or aquatic creatures can live in a tank this small for life with reasonable comfort?? :)

Betta??

how warm will the room be that you keep the tank in? My wife keeps a betta and neons at her work, but the temp is always 74 degrees

oh I forgot to mention that bettas are not what Im looking for. I want something a little more active and with more character. Room the tank will be in is a pretty constant 75d. + or - a degree.

Ah, you've never kept a betta in a tank where it has room to be active. My wife tank is 3g and that's pretty small, the neon tetras do OK though. Not sure they would do well in what your putting together.
