Help!!!!!!!!!!!!sturgeon with fin rot

i have a sturgeon which has fin rot on its tail. what should i do? im afraid to put meds b/c it might kill the sturgeon.

Maybe a clove oil can end of the finrot........ just kidding but since they are scaleless they might be sensitive to some meds, just like catfishes. But first why you had to got the sturgeon at first place?

I'd try a light salt treatment, especially if the fish is a west coast white or green sturgeon. Add some marine aquarium salt to your tank build up slowly to about one teaspoon per gallon.
