I have a 55 gallon tank, soft water, ph-6.8, I use quickdip test strips, ammonia is in stress (4 fish died just did major water change though), nitrates and nitrites are in check, its freshwater, aquarium has been set up for about 2 months, i Have a 6 inch senegal bichir, a 3 inch bala shark (Died), 3 inch pictus cat(Ick), 6 inch needlenose gar(dying), 2 red claw crabs, brown knife fish(Dead), and a giant danio(Dying). temp is 78, no live plants, emp 280 filter, no sunlight, last water change was today i did a 60%, fish get fed shrimp pellets/ occasional rosy minnows. I ahve all sorts of infection going on in my tank, yesterday morning my bala's fin were very thin and i figured hed gottena ttacked by another fish, later that night when I got home it looked like he had fin rot his fins were very thin all over, his eyes were bulging and he had red scars all over. my lfs was closed so id have to wait till this morning to get meds. this morning bala was dead, Brown knife fish was dead and it had whitish/ rotten fins, and my african clawed frog was dead. The bala shark looked like he had some flesh eating disease all his scales were off and he had small holes in him. Just now i noticed my pictus cat has ick and his antennae fell off. My danio's fins look like they are rotting off very thin and split, and my needlenose's fins are turning whitish / thining. My senegal looks okay as of now but his fins are a little tattered. Help Please! I just did a major water change 5 mins ago.

I would take out the sick or healthy fish (which ever is easier) to separate them from getting sick as well.

Bump up your temperture, what meds did you get?

Sucks, hopefully things will stabalize soon.
