Hey guys, I just added a new giant snakehead to my tank which is slightly smaller then the present one i have, it seems that they are having a territorial dispute. They keep chasing each other, and nudging each other, is this normal and if it is how long will it last? If it isn't then what should i do?

i would take them both out of the tank for a little bit, rearrange the tank and then reintroduce them into the tank.

Hi ,

it depends on the moods and the individual character of the channa. There are reports were "peacful" species like bleheri, sp. Assam or orientalis beat their tankmates up like hell, and others report, that higliy agressive species like asiatica or sp"glaser-harcourtbutleri" live peacfully with theire tankmates.

But always bear in mind, these are channa.
Things that have run properly for years can change in a minute and you end up with dead fish.

Good luck
