Hi All:
I'm a newbie who's been lurking for a while. Anyway, this may be a little too off-topic but I thought I'd put it out there to see if you can help:
Animal Care and Control is being managed by the former president of the city-county council in our city. He seems to make decisions based on what will help him keep his job rather than what's best for the animals. His latest decision is to not impound any animals in any cruelty-type cases unless the animals are in life threatening danger! Please help us oust this man by contacting Mayor Greg Ballard (gballard@indy.gov) or Public Safety Director Scott Newman (snewman@indy.gov). Even if you are not in Indianapolis, please help us let the city leadership know that we will not stand to have some washed-out bureaucrat running an animal control division that took in 18,000 animals last year!
Thanks!
Mark M. Jones
