I have a 12" BD TI Female, had her for couple years, still feeding ferociously, not change in behaviour or water parameters, however have noticed a change in one of her spots and her left spiracle.

It's hard to see but is a spot just under her spiracle browning, And then the spot inside left spiracle greying.

Is this something to be concerned about, anyone ID what this could be and suggests treatments?

Thanks in advance

Has a male been chewing on her? Some of my breeder males bite behind the eyes and they get a bit raw there. It looks like a couple spots in that area are running. Make sure water perams are clean, she isn’t harassed and it should go away in a few weeks tops

Not that I'm aware of, she is much smaller than my other females. she does have a few minor bite marks on desk, but these looks more like from the females when eating as opposed to male trying to breed with her.

Yeah water is good, on a very heavy drip and also frequent normal changes too.

Okay thanks, are the running spots a sign of something to be concerned about?

This should be nothi8ng to worry about. As the males harass the females the spots get ruined unfortunately. The spots can come back (not always) and when they do come back they are never white but more of a brown colour. It's gutting but this is what happens when males and females are kept together.
