Help tig skin damage ,

He has this line and looks like on the bottom skin is peel off or something , I'm not sure what's going on , can he get heat burn ? He sometimes swims upwards next to he heater

Guess heater burn as it's such a straight line.minor tho thankfully reckon it'll heal without scaring eventually.

Got a heater guard in use now?

It's a scratch, looks like against a piece of furniture etc. when the fish spooked, bolted or something.

Heater burn is wide and looks different, swollen, badly reddened (inflamed skin and tissue) and/or whitened (dead skin or tissue) or large spots of bare flesh showing.

Does not look like at attack from a tank mate. Possible but IMHO very unlikely.
