Help! Tiger Shovel Nose Not Eating!

So I recently bought this small tiger shovelnose catfish. Its about 2.5 - 3 inches and Im having troubles with it. Its with 2 Bichirs and they seem to be doing just fine together. No problems so far. But the problem for the TSN is that its not eating! I dont know maybe if its just shy or it doesnt want to eat while im there, but i have yet to see it eat. I have currently been feeding them hikari gold cichlid sinking pellets. I was thinking of maybe buying somr carnivore pellets soon but I am afraid this little beauty will starve itself to death! Please help! what other kinds of foods should I be trying? I try to keep away from live.

how long have you had it? it is probably just getting used to his new home, don't worry about it starving to death it will eat one of your bichirs before it starves lol

You can throw some guppies in there to get him eating then go to bloodworms then to tilapia and what not. As the person Above me said tho it will eat your bichirs before starving

i dont think so.. its been about... 3 days? the bichirs are bigger than the TSN. the bichirs are like 4-5 inches. they get along fine... for now I guess. But I dont think the cichlid pellets are doing its job. the bichirs can barely find them.

and the 2 bichirs mess around all the time. like they like to snap at each other... strangely...

the tsn could probably eat them actually. Use blood worms. Hell eat them
