Help to ID cat?

Looks like an Ariidae aka sea catfishes. Is it from marine or brackish water? If yes, please look through these and find which one(s) look the closest (and also match the location you caught it at): http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/family.php?family_id=9
Most likely not a chance. High-to-medium brackish - maybe - and even that not for life but just for prolonged periods.
May be considered cruel by some (the fish may suffer and die the hard way). Also may be illegal - better check with the fish and wildlife officials. But you, needless to say, can try and tell us of what happens. I've been wrong before.
Have you looked through the family I linked? If you found a match, the datasheet may tell you that maybe it can tolerate fresh water for a bit of time. It is quite rare but happens.
