hi i came home from the petstore 2day with these two lovely pikes, they are caught in tapajos and that was all the info the poor lady in the pet-store had about these two. So i was hoping u guys and maybe girls? could help me out a bit here.. one of them has some black markings over the head much like the xinguI but it deffinetly isnt a xinguI..

top one... maybe a really skiiny belly crawler and bottom one is possibly a lenticulata. hard to say. more photos would help. seems like there pretty stressed.

Definatily a Macrophthalma on top

Not sure about the bottom one but it looks like a lent can you get a pic that shows its upper side

thanks alot u guys.. yes i guess they are prettys stressed, i dont think they like the bagging and catching much :) ill try to take some more pics a bit later today.. i was thinking maybe one of them was a ven, but as i said ill try to get some better pics later today..

ive been trying to get some better pics but these guys are shy and still dont come out much.. so i have been able to get some pics of my dwarfs, and of what i maybe think is sax`s? theyr bought as geayii (the dwarfs) and lepidotas (sax?) but i know that the petstores around here dont know much about these fish so i feel i cant really thrust them om the whole id thing.. was hoping u guys could help me out once again as i trust the pike knowlege here on m-f far more than my local petstore..:) and after reading and looking around im not sure at all any more on wich type these two are, the one bought as geayii are dwarfs that i am sure of, but the one bought as lepidota is what i would call "mid-size" not big but doesnt look like dwarfs either..
