Hi all, yesterday I went to LFs and they have new PB , they described as " Pure 24k kelberi peacock bass "
Can everyone confirm with me is that ture? They are expensive as lfs mentioned very rare..
I bought 2 of them in put my 150gal now. They are just 3-4inch ATM and settle very well, already start eating pellet..
What everyone think their quality??they very active ..

Any other diet would recommend?

I’m almost positive that they are 24k kelberi peacock bass but I’m not an expert on identifying peacock bass but to me it looks like they are

Yes I think they’re 24k kelberi bass. If they’re eating pellets just feed them that. Pellets are good are good enough alrdy

If they’re 3-4 inches then I’d suggest blood worms but I’m wondering why you say pellets

I have try bloodworm, but they don't seem interested, and they no interested on floating pellet. But they chase hard on slow sinking pellet
May be they are still settling in their new tank...

What about setting up a breeder tank for guppies? Just an idea I’m sure they’d like that once they get comfortable with the tank

You don’t really want to encourage them to eat live. Pellet is better.

Well it depends on what they’re gonna be tank mates with if you wanna feed live or not
Either way it’s more nutritious to feed pellets over fish. Pbass are hard to get off live once they start.
