Recently purchased a jewel vision 450 5ft tank, (it came with some peaceful fishes like mollies, etc., wich I'm selling, or can be food for my other fish). So, just wanted ideas of what decors I should add to my tank, cause it looks bare.. Can any one give me ideas what to add..

(all of the fishes will be gone out of the tank soon, except for my pangasuis and green terror).

Thanks for the suggestions

lots of colourful c/a and s/a chiclids theres loads of options what kind of fish do u like ???

It looks like a really nice tank. Love the bowfront look and the gorgeous wood trim. It depends on what fish you want to stock. If you get plant compatable fish I would load it up with live plants, driftwood, and rocks as accent pieces for that natural look. If not... some more rocks, driftwood, fake plants, 3d background or all of the above!

P.S. Take out that green and white plant on the right side of the pic. It isn't a truly aquatic plant and will end up dying and rotting in your tank, thus fouling your water. I don't know why all petstores insist on selling them as an aquatic plant...

depends on what you want/like. I've got a tank that has fish and plants from where ever, my only concern was compatability. I've done others, and my new 245 will be this way, where I keep the fish and plants from one specific region. How narrow the region is up to you.
the new tank will be north american, my africans were all from lake malawi, and one of my first tanks was a 85 with nothing but a single oscar.
it's hard to have a bad looking tank, at least as far as I'm concerned, with rocks, wood, and plants.

That is one brautiful tank. Love the trim. You should consider painting the back and as far as decor goes it depends on 1)what you like and 2)what fish and 3) if you want to try to simulate species environment. Great looking tank.

Well the fish Im gna choose are either American cichlids or African.. Or mix of both(not sure bout that).
I want it to have quite a bit of decor, but also an open space in the middle.

put a black or dark background.if you go with CA/SA use taller pieces of driftwood, branches from top to bottom,at angles.get some round, river rocks.group them together.you can build high on one side and spill down to an open area.i would choose african OR sa/ca

I would at least paint the background black. Tall plants in the corners to mask the overflow and heater, stack two stacks of rock creating caves leaving the center open area.
