ok 3 days ago i came home of my weekend trip and i saw that my tsn had a big lump in his belly kinda like he just ate a big fish but he had nothing to eat so i had no idea. now his hole belly is bloated and i still havnt feed him. what can i do and whats wrong with him. pleace help

It would happen to my TSN sometimes. I figured it was from him scooping up gravel when he went to eat something, he passed it within a few days. I have a friend that has some red tail cats and his eat a ton of gravel and then poop it out after a while. Check for missing plecos also, mine got one last month, thought the point on the plecos fin was going to poke right through.
thanks but here the thing. there was only 2 other cats in there that are 12" sso o know he didnt eat anyone and there is no gravel in there
O.k. then...no gravel and no other fish besides Monster cat.......any decorations whatsoever that could have broken off, floated off etc... that could have been eaten.....think, think, think,.......... do you feed feeders, if so maybe a bad feeder from a few days ago (hope not)..............best of luck!!
the only thing i can think of is he is tearing off and eating the plants. i have those replile plants that have a suction cup on it and there on the sides of the tank. so the only thing i can think of is he is eating it. if so will he **** it out or will it hurt them
Have you noticed if any of the fake plants and / or suction cups are indeed missing...............if so i would like to think that your tsn would s**t it out eventually. Not much else you can do if thats the case! good luck with it.
