I light up a 9W uv light fto kill my algae. It is lighted up for 3 days and I put it inside the 30x60x90(cm) tank since I can't put it inside my fliter. Just now, I decided to turn the uv light off as soon as my mbu puffer have white slime covering its body and cloudy eyes, and it rarely swims ( it still can swim and breath though). Is it a tumor because of the uv rays? Is there any treatment? please help...

If you're speculating that the UV radiation may have given your fish cancer, the answer is no. Cancer resulting from a source such as uv radiation would take a year or more to become symptomatic.

What's your water parameters?

I didn't check the parameters, but last time it's supposed to be okay...
Does it look like a fish cancer or fungal infection to you?
Is the best solution to leave it? Will it be able recover by its own?

Get your water parameters. Cloudy eye generally comes from bad water quality, and also its silly to have that UV still in the tank if you are worried about it negatively effecting your fish. Set up a sump and place it in there instead.

I have aquarium salt and methlyene blue. Which one should I use if my parameters are bad? Is it okay for the puffer?

well...first off neither of those will fix bad parameters....and puffers are scaless so using anything for them can be detrimental. I would start by dosing HALF DOSES of meth blue and do 50% water changes DAILY. Also, get a test kit and test your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate (these are your water parameters, at least the most crucial ones right now)

I believe meth. blue can kill off beneficial bacteria, so if you're going to use it definitely do at least 50% w/c daily.

Water changes, water changes and then some more water changes, also your filters may need cleaning.

classic case of "my waters fine, let me try something else" when in reality your water parameters are probably horrible. get a test kit, or take a sample of your water to your lfs.
